Mitch Marner has shared a heartfelt tribute following the tragic passing of his former teammate, Matt Pepler, who died in a boating accident on Lake Rosseau.
The loss of Pepler, who was just 32 years old, has deeply affected the Muskoka community as well as those who knew him through hockey. He previously played for the St. Michael’s Buzzers between 2011 and 2015, where he crossed paths with Marner during their time in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
