A 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with a crash that claimed the lives of four men in Huyton, Merseyside.
James Diggle, of Alundale Road in West Derby, Liverpool, faces four counts of aiding and abetting causing death by dangerous driving. He is expected to appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court as the legal process moves forward.
The charges relate to a fatal incident that occurred on July 24, when a black Cupra carrying four men collided with a lamp-post. All four occupants of the vehicle died as a result of the crash.
The victims have been identified as Jack Diggle, 23, Benjamin Dooley, 23, Andrew Roberts, 24, and Craig Shackleton-Brady, 26. Their deaths have left families, friends, and the wider community mourning a devastating loss.
