The family of Caden Fine, affectionately known as “Bama,” continues to grieve and honor the memory of the young hockey player whose life was tragically cut short in a motor vehicle accident on February 2, 2026, in Stavely, Alberta, Canada.
Caden’s passing, alongside his teammates Cam Casorso and J.J. Wright, sent shockwaves through the hockey community and left a lasting impact on families, friends, teammates, and supporters across multiple communities.
According to reports, the three players were traveling to a team practice when the fatal crash occurred. All were members of the USPHL Premier Alberta Division, where they shared a deep passion for hockey and formed strong bonds that extended far beyond the ice.
Originally from Alabama, Caden moved to Canada to pursue his dream of playing hockey. Known by teammates as “Bama,” he quickly became a cherished member of the team, admired for his determination, positive spirit, and dedication. His teammates, Cam Casorso and J.J.
