The community of Keady, Northern Ireland is mourning the unexpected passing of Conor Maguire, who died on August 2, 2026, leaving family, friends, and loved ones deeply heartbroken.
Conor is lovingly remembered by his partner, Caoimhe, and his children, Cohen, Cienna, and Connie. He was also a devoted father to his late infant daughter, Elsie-Mae, whose memory remained close to his heart. His love for his children was evident to all who knew him, and fatherhood was one of the most important parts of his life.
He was the cherished son of Martina and Christopher Maguire and a much-loved brother to Jordan, Daire, and Anthony. His family describes him as someone whose presence brought love, strength, and happiness to those around him, and his sudden passing has left a profound void.
News of Conor’s death has prompted an outpouring of sympathy and support from across the Keady community. Friends, neighbors, and loved ones have come together to offer prayers and condolences while reflecting on the positive impact he had on their lives.
Although his time with his loved ones was far too short, Conor leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to provide comfort. His kindness, devotion to his family, and the connections he built with others will remain a lasting part of his legacy.
His remains will repose at his late residence, 23 Rathmoyle Park, Keady, BT60 2XD, until removal on Thursday. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects on Tuesday and Wednesday between 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., with the home remaining private outside of these hours and on Thursday morning.
A Requiem Mass will be held at St Patrick’s Church, Keady, at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to attend and honor his life.
As his family prepares to say goodbye, they do so surrounded by the love and support of the wider community. Conor Maguire will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his children, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
