It is with deep sorrow that family and friends announce the passing of Barry Joshua “Josh” Brenner of Southampton, Ontario, who passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 48 years old.
Josh’s passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered as a devoted father, cherished son, beloved brother, and loyal friend whose presence brought warmth, meaning, and joy to countless lives.
At the center of Josh’s world was his son, Benjamin, whom he loved deeply and proudly. His role as a father was one he treasured above all, and the bond they shared will forever remain a lasting part of his legacy.
Josh is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Joanne, and her husband Brad Robinson, as well as his father, Barry Cooney. He leaves behind his siblings—Caleb Robinson, Bowen Robinson, Shane Countryman, Courtney Countryman, and Darren Countryman—along with extended family members and close friends who will continue to carry his memory forward.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Southampton Golf & Country Club, 400 N Rankin Street, Southampton, Ontario. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor a man who meant so much to so many.
Though his life was cut short, Josh Brenner’s legacy of love, family, and friendship will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
